Will I receive an order confirmation?
After you have placed an order in the webshop you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
When will my order be delivered?
As soon as we have received your order, our aim is to ship your order within 2 working days, and sometimes even faster. We will share the track and trace number with you once the order is shipped.
What are the shipping costs?
The shipping cost are reflected at checkout and depend on the size and weight of the package. All shipments will be send with track and trace.
Can I also order outside the Netherlands?
Yes you can, we ship to most countries in Europe and shipping rates are calculated at checkout. In case your country or region is not supported, please send an email to info@africashare.co and we will see what we can do for you.
Best practices for washing African Print “Ankara’’
- Maximum of 30 degrees Celsius
- Separate light and dark colours
- If possible wash inside out, and ironing as well
- When ironing do not use a temperature above 150 degrees Celsius
- Do not hang to dry with direct sunlight
- The fabric may fill a bit stiff after washing, but once it dried it will feel as normal
Where do we buy our African print fabrics?
The fabrics come from local markets in Lagos, Nigeria. We carefully select and partner up with different local market women. We intentionally buy from several women, as we want to support multiple small businesses.
What if a product is out of stock / sold out?
As most of our products, if not all, are hand made it very likely that we are not able to replenish the stock with the exact same product in terms of fabric, colours, weaving technique or design. Also, all paintings are unique, and therefore there are no multiple copies available. Therefore, if you see something nice on Africa’Share, we encourage you to buy it!
We also encourage you to send us an email to info@africashare.co, if there is any item you really like and that is not available, we will take note and try to find similar products, if not the same.
Are Africa’Share products fair trade?
Currently we are not certified as fair trade (yet), however our main goal is to support local artisans and small businesses as much as possible, by investing in their businesses and agreeing on fair prices.
Is Africa'Share open to collaborate with other artisans and partners?
Yes, most definitely. This is just the start and we have the ambition to grow with creatives within Nigeria and other African countries. If you are interested to collaborate or want to connect us to a potential partner, please reach out and send us an email to info@africashare.co
